Commissioning Engineer

Our client is a leading provider of sustainable and energy-efficient micro-generation solutions across the private and public sector industries. Due to planned expansion, we have an opportunity for an electrically strong Commissioning Engineer to carry out the commissioning and provide management for the service and maintenance team.

The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with local DNOs.
  • Electrical installation of generators and CHP sets.
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding on control panels.
  • Modification of control panels – ComAp
  • Electrical problem resolution.
  • Providing client satisfaction and outstanding customer service at all times!


The Commissioning Engineer will have:

  • Experience with relevant control panels used for Generator / CHP applications.
  • Knowledge of G99 / 101 regulations and compliance.
  • A strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting capability.
  • Relevant LV/HV qualifications.
  • Experience with relevant switchgear and SCADA systems.
  • A can-do attitude!

The Commissioning Engineer package:

  • £40,000 – 65,000
