Engine Overhaul Technician 

 The Engine Overhaul Technician Package: 

• Salary up to £40,000 (nego DOE)
• Overtime at x1.5 base rate

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for the maintenance of engines, including basic fault finding and troubleshooting. 
• Performing large engine overhauls, including head removal, de-coke, engine rebuild, replacing crank and camshafts
• Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on diesel engine components, including cylinder heads, pistons, connecting rods, bearings, gaskets, and seals.
• Installing and refitting engine components

You will possess the following:

• Exceptional mechanical engineering skills
• Prior experience performing overhaul, rebuild, and major maintenance tasks on large diesel, gas, or marine engines
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills would be an added bonus
• Ideally, qualified at Apprenticeship, City, and Guilds level
• Be able to work independently and be trustworthy, with a great sense of humour!

Due to their planned growth, a newly created opportunity has arisen for an Engine Overhaul Technician to enhance their rebuild team and look after the major maintenance of industrial engines in their local workshop.

We welcome applications from engine rebuild and overhaul technicians in the Power Generation, HGV, Industrial, Forces, or Marine sectors with relevant experience. Product-specific training will be provided.

You will play a vital role in diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding engines to restore optimal performance.
