Project Director

Renew Consultancy is excited to be recruiting for a Project Director to oversee the project of a Data Centre in Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior professional with significant experience in large-scale data centre projects.

About the role:

• Develop business plans, cost control systems, cash flow forecasts, and billable schedules for the project.
• Produce procurement plans, drawing/design plans, construction programmes, and resource allocation schedules.
• Liaise with the client and design team to resolve procurement and engineering issues.
• Ensure the development and implementation of project safety and quality plans.
• Manage sub-contractors and labour in line with the business plan.
• Ensure project milestones are met, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and construction industry standards.
• Oversee the testing and commissioning process to meet project-specific quality requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the project and beyond, including during the warranty period.
• Lead post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and present findings to senior management.

About you:

• 10-15 years of experience in senior project roles .
• Proven track record working on large-scale projects.
• Qualified in Electrical or other relevant disciplines.
• Excellent stakeholder and people management skills.
• Strong knowledge of contract requirements.
