CHP Field Service Engineer 

Renew Consultancy is working with a Power Generation company who are a leading provider of sustainable and energy-efficient Combined Heat and Power & Renewable energy solutions. 

Due to planned expansion in the Operations team, we are keen to speak with CHP Field Service Engineers to join their thriving business and assist with the service and maintenance of gas engines and associated auxiliary equipment such as pumps, hydraulics, and fans. 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a business during a pivotal phase of its growth. Offering a variety of exciting challenges, the CHP Field Service Engineer will be responsible for: 

• Being responsible for providing essential service and maintenance of Cogeneration sets
• Using your proven knowledge and relevant experience to resolve problematic gas engines methodically.
• Fault finding and problem resolution.
• Optimising engines and auxiliary equipment for ultimate performance.

Working in a mature and flexible working environment, it is essential that the CHP Field Service Engineer owns prior experience maintaining & problem-solving on gas engines or diesel engines. Ideally, you’ll have knowledge of heat exchangers and boiler heads; however, training will be provided.

You will need to be able to work autonomously and manage your own workload. Above all, you will be trustworthy, with a great sense of humour!
