Field Service Engineer – Gas Engines

Due to planned business growth, we are keen to speak with Field Service Engineers to work on a range of gas-powered sites, ranging from LFG to STOR, where you will enjoy the variety of technical challenges that arise from performing engine troubleshooting, fault-finding, and problem resolution.

The successful Field Service Engineer will possess mechanical engineering skills, with prior experience servicing and maintaining gas power supply equipment such as Jenbacher, Cummins, MTU, Mercedes, MWM, Deutz, MAN or CAT-sized units, CHP sets, engines, and generators.

The Field Service Engineer package details:

• Basic salary of £35,000 – £45,000

You will be part of the occasional call-out rota within your region.

Knowledge of electrical fault finding or component replacement would be a distinct advantage, as would any experience of CHP gas engine/generator control panels or the 18th Edition qualification.

Our client is, however, willing to provide training and development in this area.
